Institutional image design for schools: Comprehensive rebranding for CAPU
At Hey, we designed the new institutional image for Colegio Alcalde Pedro Urbina (CAPU) in Peumo, Chile. This school rebranding project reflected the core values of the institution: closeness, identity, and prestige. CAPU, a public school renowned for its high academic standards, stands out for shaping well-rounded students—critical thinkers, creative minds, and cooperative individuals—while offering value-driven and free education.
Our work began with redesigning the logo, crafted to symbolize the unity and collaboration between the institution and families, all for the benefit of the students. We complemented this transformation with a vibrant and professional color palette, representing the diversity and dynamism of its student community.
We designed uniforms, study materials, and internal signage to reinforce a consistent visual experience throughout the school. Additionally, we developed an accessible and intuitive website aimed at strengthening communication between students, parents, and teachers.
Working alongside such a committed and enthusiastic teaching team was a true privilege. This project allowed us to contribute to CAPU’s mission: to shape future professionals who will make positive contributions to society.
At Hey, we believe that institutional image design for schools can transform how an institution is perceived, highlighting its unique values and impact within the community.
